Southeastern Minnesota Roadtrip

Southeastern Minnesota Roadtrip

Zero plans on a beautiful Friday calls for a road trip! This was the perfect day to get inspired by the beautiful towns, hidden gems, and animals that surround Minnesota.

Highlights from this day trip:

National Eagle Center. Wabasha, Minnesota

Our first stop was Wabasha, Minnesota. Our destination in this cute town was the National Eagle Center.

Located on the banks of the Mississippi River in Wabasha, MN, visitors get an up-close experience to view live Bald Eagles and explore the connections eagles have had on history throughout the years and cultures.

This experience inspired my eagle stickers.

Nelson Creamery in Nelson, Wisconsin (The Original Nelson Cheese Factory)

This amazing creamery includes special cheese from Wisconsin and around the world, as well as fine wines and gourmet selections of sandwiches, soups, and salads.

Our favorite, of course, was the ice cream.

This stop was absolutely breathtaking! As an art lover- this is the place to go when in Southern Minnesota. Very strong collection of pieces and may just be a hidden gem in Winona, MN.

This Marine art museum holds historic works of art and well-deserving artists' work from local surrounding areas. Every work of art is inspired by water! You will walk out of this museum very inspired!
